One week in New Hampshire that came with 7 days full of rain. The woods were lush with ferns and moss. Even found a few red maples. Not much t shoot on the coast during this week.

I am fortunate enough to see this small herd of paint horses nearly every day. The foals were barely a few days old when I photographed them. I felt that the “Into the Wind” image needed a special sepia tone treatment.

In the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone I came across a grizzly that had the herd of several hundred bison & calves on the run. One of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. The griz stopped for a few seconds to raise up on two legs to give me a look and then went back to the bison.

A blustery day up at Rocky Mountain National Park allowed me to capture the spindrift blowing around the peaks. There was a large elk herd in Moraine Park and I set up low in the creek bed for this angle.
