One week in New Hampshire that came with 7 days full of rain. The woods were lush with ferns and moss. Even found a few red maples. Not much t shoot on the coast during this week.

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009I am fortunate enough to see this small herd of paint horses nearly every day. The foals were barely a few days old when I photographed them. I felt that the “Into the Wind” image needed a special sepia tone treatment.

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009In the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone I came across a grizzly that had the herd of several hundred bison & calves on the run. One of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. The griz stopped for a few seconds to raise up on two legs to give me a look and then went back to the bison.

Saturday, January 3rd, 2009A blustery day up at Rocky Mountain National Park allowed me to capture the spindrift blowing around the peaks. There was a large elk herd in Moraine Park and I set up low in the creek bed for this angle.
