This was a part of NANPA’s Nature Photography Day. I headed up the Cache la Poudre canyon to see what might catch my eye. Came across this bolder sticking up and it seemed to be fighting the river currents.

One of my compositions featuring a pine cone balanced on a rock with the Cache la Poudre River running behind it was juried into this national show. This image needed a 20 second exposure to capture the rushing river in the background.
